Left over Sweet Potatoes? Make them into a mask that is good for your skin!
Sweet Potatoes have an abundance of Vitamin A, Beta-carotene, and antioxidants. Sweet Potatoes can actually help smooth out wrinkles as well as brighten the skin.
Here is what to do:
Take sweet potatoes and mash them if they aren’t already mashed. Make sure they don’t have any butter or seasoning or anything in them, you want plain potatoes.
Mix together 1 Cup sweet potatoes mashed, 2 tablespoons of honey (helps hydrate dry skin), 3-5 drops of lemon juice (helps with discoloration and redness). Mix together and apply to face all over. Leave on for about 15 min and wash away with warm wash cloth.
