The Most Delicious, Chocolate-y Bath and Body ProductsSeptember 05, 2008
After pounding out a long article or slashing a story to ribbons for space, we head straight to our Executive Editor’s candy jar. If it’s 3 P.M., you know where to find us.
I’ve decided to spare my thighs and raid the beauty closet instead. Here, my top five most indulgent chocolate-y bath and body products:
Philip B. Chocolate Milk Body Wash & Bubble Bath. I don’t know what Philip B. did to get the scent so ridiculously spot on, but a part of me thinks the Nestle Quik Bunny is counting his money somewhere in Bora Bora right now.
Laura Mercier Chocolate Truffle Soufflé Body Crem. Apparently, the French do chocolate a bit differently: Mercier swirls in espresso, Frangelico, vanilla, sweet maple, honey, and a bit of rose. Well, excuse moi. (P.S. It’s fabulous.)
Jaqua Cocoa Buttercream Frosting Hand Cream. Apply this brand new hand cream at work, and be prepared to slink into your chair when someone inevitably calls out, “Who brought cupcakes?” (to no one in particular, of course).
Philosophy Caramel Mocha Latte Shower Gel. If you’re one of those types who can’t imagine your Starbucks without a shot of something sweet, you’ll appreciate a morning shower with this toasty, mocha shower gel.
Me! Bath Ice Cream in White Chocolate Heaven. Toss one of these perfectly formed scoops in the bath, watch it fizz, and sit back and relax as moisturizing oils, nourishing minerals, Epsom salt, and a delicious white chocolate fragrance work their magic. A lot of great spas use these in their pedis.
So go ahead and indulge. These are guaranteed not to cause muffin top.
