25 Days of "Inside Out" - Day 1

One of the BEST ways to treat yourself is with a masque! You don't need the hoity toity "Ultra Vitamin Algae from Peru" kind...(although they are nice sometimes) You can make Masques from things you have at home!

What's your skin type?

Dry....OMEGAS PLEASE Masque - 1/2 very ripe Avocado,  3 tablespoons EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), 1 tablespoon of Honey- Mix together well to make a paste texture.

Oily....Oatmeal Masque - 1 Egg, 1 Tablespoon of Honey, 1/4 cup Oatmeal (I like to slightly cook my oatmeal) Blend all of it in a food processor so that its a thin texture

Normal....Monkey Around Masque - 1 ripe banana, 2 tablespoons of honey, juice of 1/2 a lemon, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.  Mix well.

Brightening and tightening...3 egg whites, 1 lemon juiced, 2 tablespoons of honey

For best results cleanse and lightly exfoliate with a mixture of sea salt and baking soda before you begin. All the masques should be left on for a minimum of 5 min and max of 15 min. Wipe away with warm wash cloth. Followed by another cleanse, tone, treatment and moisturize.

Of course if you want a splurge purchase...I LOVE this one by LUSH. It wakes up and tightens the skin and you can use it in the shower to tighten the skin around the thighs.
